# Sharepoint

Connect your Microsoft business account to sync files from your shared SharePoint sites with Jurisphere.

SharePoint works slightly differently from Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive. When you add a SharePoint folder, you first navigate through the available **Sites**, then select the relevant document library and folder you want to sync.

***

### How to connect SharePoint

1. Go to your Profile from bottom left corner.
2. Navigate to **Settings → Integrations**.
3. Select **SharePoint**.
4. Click **Link Account**.
5. Sign in with your **Microsoft business account** and authorize Jurisphere to access SharePoint.
6. Once connected, SharePoint will appear under **Connected**.

***

### How to sync a SharePoint folder

Once your SharePoint account is connected:

1. Click **Add Folders**.
2. Select the **Destination Project** in Jurisphere where you want the SharePoint files to appear.
3. Under **Target Folder**, you will see your available SharePoint **Sites**.
4. Select the Site containing the files you want to sync.
5. Open the relevant **Documents** library.
6. Select the folder you want to sync.
7. Click **Add Folder**.

{% hint style="success" %}
Only the folder you select is added to the sync. You do not need to sync the entire Site or Documents library.
{% endhint %}

### How SharePoint sync works

Once a SharePoint folder is added, Jurisphere automatically syncs files from that folder into the selected Jurisphere project. A few other features:

* **Changes** made to a file in SharePoint are **reflected** on the platform automatically.
* **Deleting** a file from SharePoint **removes** it from the platform.
* **Restoring** a file from SharePoint Trash restores it on the platform.
* Nested folders and subfolders are preserved, maintaining the **same folder hierarchy**.
* **Moving** a file between folders **updates** its location on the platform.
* Uploading the same document with a **different name** creates a **separate document**.

This lets you continue managing your files in SharePoint while making the selected files available in Jurisphere.

{% hint style="info" %}
You can monitor all incoming files from the **Activities** page, which shows status (In Progress, Completed or Failed), file name, type, and the exact time it was started.
{% endhint %}

### Disconnecting SharePoint

If you no longer want to use the SharePoint integration:

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations**.
2. Select **SharePoint**.
3. Click **Unlink**.
4. Confirm the action.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.jurisphere.ai/integrations/sharepoint.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
