# DocuSign

Connect DocuSign to manage document signing workflows from Jurisphere.

Unlike the file storage integrations, DocuSign is designed for **sending documents for signature, tracking their status, and bringing completed signed documents back into Jurisphere**.

## How to connect DocuSign

1. Go to the **profile icon** from the bottom left corner.
2. Navigate to **Settings.**
3. Select **Integrations** from the settings menu.
4. Under **Unlinked**, select **DocuSign**.
5. Follow the prompts to sign in to your DocuSign account and authorize Jurisphere to access your account.
6. Once successfully connected, DocuSign will appear under **Connected** integrations.

## Using DocuSign with Jurisphere

Once DocuSign is connected, you can manage document-signing workflows directly through Jurisphere:

* **Send agreements for signature** - Select an agreement or document in Jurisphere and send it to the relevant signatories through DocuSign.
* **Track envelope status** – Monitor the status of documents sent for signature, including whether they are pending, completed, or require further action.
* **Bring signed documents back into Jurisphere** - Once all required signatures have been obtained, completed documents can be retrieved from DocuSign and brought back into Jurisphere for easy access and record-keeping.

This integration helps streamline the signing process by keeping document preparation, signature tracking, and completed agreements connected within Jurisphere.

## Unlinking/Disconnecting DocuSign

If you no longer want to use the integration:

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations**.
2. Select **DocuSign**.
3. Choose the option to **Disconnect/Unlink** the account.
4. Confirm the action when prompted.

{% hint style="info" %}
Disconnecting DocuSign removes the connection between your DocuSign account and Jurisphere. It does not delete your documents or envelopes from DocuSign.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.jurisphere.ai/integrations/docusign.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
